After another raid in an empty village, the chief of the Vikings Timandahaf misunderstands the explanation of his druid Cryptograf that "fear gives wings to the dwellers" and believes that fear actually makes the villagers fly. When the Vikings abduct him and bring him back to their homeland, Asterix and Obelix must travel to Norway to rescue Justforkix. Another adventure with Asterix, the generously-mustachioed Gaul warrior, and Obelix, his pear-shaped sidekick. The animation is decent quality (2010 era), combining hand-drawn cell techniques with some 3-d CGI looking segments, but these are blended in wonderfully. The story has been changed a great deal from the original.
